Dr. Samantha Moffitt

Few Veterinarians will answer the call of Animal Control Officers in the field and agree to testify at trial against animal abusers. Dr. Moffitt is a true hero to animals. She will be knee deep in chickens and still smile at you. Because of her care, many animals have been saved from horrible situations. She has literally saved thousands of animals all over Virginia and never fails to give up her time to help animals and law enforcement. We salute her as a Hero Veterinarian.

Dr. Ernesto Dominguez

Dr. Dominguez has served Virginia as the Lead Veterinarian for the Wildlife Center of Virginia, saving 100s of animal lives in his tenure there. He has also served as a forensic veterinarian in the field and taken on some incredibly demanding animal abuse cases for the Commonwealth. He has a steady manner whether he is dealing with an exotic parrot, iguana, fox, bear, or big cat. He has been an amazing resource to Virginia law enforcement on exotic animals and has nursed back to health numerous exotic animals for Animal Control Agencies

Dr. Kelly Gottschalk- Virginia Veterinary Medical Association

Dr Gottschalk has been a leader in the Veterinary world in Virginia. She has led the VVMA with distinction and added a commonsense approach to assisting veterinarians do their challenging jobs. Not only has she done a great job in her role at the VVMA, but she has spoken truth to power and add a practical voice to legislative debate.
