Lisa O’Neill -Angels of Assisi

Lisa and Angels of Assisi are the Patron Saints of Animals in the Roanoke area, and their reach stretches to Southwest Virginia. Lisa not only has clinics to help animals in need in rural areas, giving free or low-cost vet care and spay and neuter, but she literally never says no. She goes to great lengths to save animals and thousands of animals have passed through her hands for vet care and forever homes. She also has one of the best agricultural animal sanctuaries in Virginia.

It is incredibly hard to place agricultural animals because of their size and she regularly rides in like the calvary to take Agricultural animals from Animal Control Agencies who are overwhelmed by large scale seizures.
